The most commonly asked question in fitness is how to lose weight. This is what we will explore and show you how to make this happen.
Calories in and calories out. That's a simple way of putting it. The problem is that tracking calories can be very confusing and time-consuming. There are some great tools out there like MyFitnessPal or CaloricomeKing but ultimately it is about having the right energy balance. In simple terms eat what you burn off.
To lose weight we need to use the energy we take into our bodies so that it doesn't get stored as fat.
The most obvious way to do this is by getting more active and eat less but this isn't always the solution. In fact, it is usually the short term solution and if you simply start working out and restricting calories you are not likely to last long. People who are starving themselves are not creating a healthy balance of energy in & energy out.
If you focus on achieving the energy balance you will only need a slight deficit of about 15% to lose weight. It could be as simple as doing a 20-30 minutes workout 3-5 times a day and/or eating more healthy food that are high in nutrients and lower in calories. It is a much more sustainable approach that works for the long shot.
You can lose weight while eating healthy food that is high in nutrients to keep you energised and help to stay lean and toned forever.
Develop a new lifestyle by changing the choices you make every day one step at a time. A great way of doing this is by starting to eat healthier. Organise your every day to make time for a healthy balanced diet. Have a plan and keep it flexible in case life happens and you need to change some things around. Don't worry about having a cheat meal occasionally.

Not having time equals not having priorities. If you are serious about losing weight you might need to sacrifice watching your favourite show into cooking at times.
Start working out to boost your metabolism. Not only will it help to fast track your weight loss, but it will also make it more enjoyable and fun along the way. If you are not a gym person you can do it at home or in the park. If you are new to working just get a plan, go to a class or work out with a friend who knows what to do.
